The Nordic Network in Metaphysics organises its 4th meeting on the 27-28 November 2018. This meeting is hosted by the department of Philosophy, Linguistics and Theory of Science at the University of Gothenburg.
The meeting features presentations from junior academics (PhD-students and postdocs) affiliated to a university in the network (any university in either Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Island, Norway or Sweden), working in metaphysics.
All talks will have a commentator, and the following philosophers have provisionally accepted that role: Einar Duenger Bøhn (Agder), Matti Eklund (Uppsala), Jani Hakkarainen (Tampere), Markku Keinänen (Helsinki), Anna-Sofia Maurin (Gothenburg), Johanna Seibt (Aarhus), Tuomas Tahko (Helsinki), and Tobias Hansson-Wahlberg (Lund).
Call for abstracts: PhD-students and postdocs affiliated to a university in the network, working in metaphysics (broadly construed), interested in presented at the meeting should submit an abstract no later than September 15. Should your abstract be accepted, you are expected to submit a paper to your commentator no later than November 7.
Submit your abstract (maximum 500 words, prepared for blind refereeing) by e-mailing it to: anna-sofia.maurin@gu.se. Make sure you include information about your affiliation in the cover letter.
